Default BBQ's!! - 23-04-2008, 04:17 PM

Hey all,

Just a little overawed at the amount of BBQ's are on the market!!

Im looking for a fairly big BBQ for social gatherings (drunken evenings) and general entertaining. Does anyone have any ideas on what i should be looking for or where the best place for me to look is?? Im in the middle of "doing up" my garden ready for the summer!! Any comments welcome!!

It depends what your budget is? And is it a gas or charcoal bbq you're after? I've got a Weber which I've been really pleased with after doing a LOT of shopping around; had it for a couple of years now and looking forward to a better summer this year so i can get more use out of it. It's really easy to use and looks good too. There's also some by Lifestyle I think it's called, that have a really good reputation, and a bit more affordable if you don't want to spend too much. Just avoid buying shops own brand or brands you've never heard of - a friend bought one from a supermarket a couple of years ago and regretted it ever since. You can tell the quality isn't as good, and you don't get the warranty that you get with some of the bigger brands. I guess you get what you pay for. Good luck!

Sounds good. I think this time of year would be a good time to buy as you could probably pick up some bargains before the season kicks in. Come back and let us know if you make a purchase.
